  • Museum: The department hosts one of the oldest Geological Museums in Central India keeping all types of Igneous, Metamorphic, Sedimentary rock samples along with plant and animal fossil samples, metallic and non-metallic mineral samples ranging from Precambrian times to the Holocene.
  • Alumni Association (AADGENU): The department has the strong alumni association network which provides guidance for the UPSC Geologists Written Examination and other competitive Geoscientific examinations conducted by the Central and State Governments along with public sector and private Agencies.

  • B.Sc. with Geology as one of the subjects with minimum 50% marks (General Category) and 45% marks (Reserved Category)
  • OR B.Sc. (Hons.) Geology (NEP) eligible for direct admission to Semester III
